O documentário revela a história de três irmãos, tendo como fio condutor a trajetória do mais novo, que viaja para Londres em 1969, enviado pela família para que não participasse da luta armada contra a ditadura no Brasil, seguindo os passos da irmã, que acabou tornando-se presa política. Misturando depoimentos e memórias dos irmãos com nove anos passados no exterior pelo caçula, o filme detalha cartas e também entrevistas com ele, que chegou a ser internado em instituições psiquiátricas. Um relato triste e ao mesmo tempo bem humorado de um núcleo familiar e suas convicções.

The documentary tells the story of three brothers, focusing on the younger one, who travels to London in 1969, sent by the family in order to prevent him from taking part in the armed rebellion against the dictatorial regime in Brazil. His sister had already become a political prisoner. Blending the brothers’ memories and testimonials with the nine years spent abroad by the younger one, the film scrutinizes letters and interviews with him, who was also sent to psychiatric institutions. A sad but also heartwarming tale of a nuclear family and its convictions.
