Em julho de 2016 foi inaugurado o Centro de Visitantes Paineiras, no Parque Nacional da Tijuca. 

O projeto conta com a exposição interativa, "Floresta Protetora", sobre o Parque Nacional da Tijuca, a biodiversidade da Mata Atlântica e os outros parques nacionais brasileiros.

São 1.200 m² para sensibilizar o público sobre a conservação da natureza e estimular o interesse pelos Parques Nacionais. Idealizada pela equipe técnica do Parque e pela SuperUber, a mostra permanente apresenta características geográficas e históricas da região, assim como a fauna, a flora e as consequências das ações humanas no local. Ao longo de sete salas o visitante vai encontrar, entre outras coisas, uma maquete em escala de 10 por 12 metros, instalações e mesas interativas, projeções ultrarrealistas, fotografias, imagens inéditas captadas por drone, relatos de personalidades e uma área lúdica para crianças.

PAINEIRAS MUSEUM

On July 2016 the Paineiras Visitors Center, in the Tijuca National Park, was opened.

The project has an interactive exhibit called “Floresta Protetora”, about the National Park, the biodiversity of the Brazilian Atlantic Forest and other Brazilian National Parks.

The size of the center is of 1.200m² and it serves to develop public awareness regarding nature preservation and stimulate the visitor’s interest in National Parks. Conceived by the technical team of the Park and by SuperUber, the permanent exhibit presents historical and geographical characteristics of the region as well as its fauna, flora and the consequences of human actions in the area. Throughout 7 rooms the visitor will find, among other things, a 10x12m diorama, interactive installations, ultrarealistic projections, photos, never seen before images captured by drones, testimonials and an educational area for children.
